Want to join us and tend your own vegetables?

If you are interested in joining us and renting a plot then, unfortunately, there is a waiting list!
(The actual Waiting List has been removed from the website in order to comply with The Data Protection Act.)
However:-
At present the waiting list is quite short so applicants can expect to wait a matter of months rather than years.
If you wish to have your name added to the list, pop on down to the Trading Hut on a Sunday morning (and Saturday morning through Spring) between 9.30am - 11.30am where someone in the shop will be happy to give you an application form to complete & give you further information.  You will have a chance to discuss your needs and the demands of having an allotment, and see the site layout.

If you are unable to come on a Sunday send in a message via the contact page and we will be in touch to arrange an alternative time.

If you are worried about the threatened move to a new site -
The site is a 'Statutory Site' and an alternative site has to be found. (If nowhere can be found there is a very complicated process to be gone through before closure can be considered.)
While the land has been zoned for housing there has been no planning application for the allotment site and we have been advised that the planning and construction process means we have at least 2 years and quite likely up to 9 years before anything happens. The Association is working towards remaining "within the community" - and preferably where we are!

Any tenant at the time of any move can expect a place on any new site.
