Founder Member & Life Vice-President  - Hugh Merrett

Hugh can trace his involvement with Roeshot Hill Allotment site from the inception to the present day!  At the inaugural meeting of the Association Hugh was elected as Chairman, a post that he held for many years.
The continued existence of the Association owes much to his hard work and dedication, assisted by Jane, his wife. The members, therefore unanimously voted him as the first Life Vice-President at the 2006 AGM.
Hugh continues his work for the Association by growing plants for purchase at the Trading Hut which are displayed in the frames outside when ready to be planted out - worth keeping a check on.
